Gluten-Free Banana Bread
Soft, moist, and perfectly sweet — this gluten-free banana bread will fill your kitchen with the most amazing aroma!
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar (or honey)
- 1/4 cup melted butter or oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder (ensure it’s gluten-free)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Optional: 1/2 cup walnuts or chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Mash the Bananas: In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In the same bowl, add the eggs, melted butter (or oil), sugar (or honey), and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Add Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in Extras: If you’re using walnuts or chocolate chips, fold them into the batter.
- Bake: Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool: Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
