Crispy Cheese Balls
Ingredients:
- 2 cups (200g) mozzarella cheese (cut into cubes or use small balls)
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cups (200g) breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Oil for deep frying (or use an air fryer)
Instructions:
- Cut mozzarella into bite-size cubes or use mini cheese balls.
- Roll each piece lightly in flour.
- Dip into beaten eggs.
- Coat with breadcrumbs.
- For extra crunch, repeat: dip again in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs (double coating).
- Place on a tray and freeze for 20–30 minutes.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry until golden and crispy (about 2–3 minutes).
Air Fryer Option:
- Spray with oil.
- Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes.
- Shake halfway through cooking.
