Cheesy Chicken Breasts in an Air Fryer
This is one of those recipes that are easy to make but taste like a real meal. The chicken stays juicy, gets a nice golden crust, and the melted cheese on top is the perfect finishing touch.
Ingredients
2 to 3 chicken breasts
1½ tablespoons of olive oil
1 tsp of paprika
½ teaspoon of garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp of salt
1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
A pinch of chili flakes or herbs is optional.
How to Make It
1. Add spices to the chicken
Add olive oil to the chicken and then sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper all over it.
Make sure it is covered all over.
2. Warm up the air fryer
Set it to 375°F (190°C).
3. First, cook the chicken.
Put the chicken in the basket.
Flip after cooking for 10 minutes.
Cook for another five to seven minutes.
The outside should be a nice brown color.
4. Put in the cheese
Take the chicken out, put cheese on top, and then put it back in.
5. Melt and finish
Cook for 2 to 3 more minutes, or until the cheese is melted and a little bit golden.
How I like to eat it
With rice, vegetables, or even just a salad. It feels even better with the melted cheese.
💡 Real advice:
Don’t add the cheese too soon. Let the chicken cook first so that the bottom stays nice and golden.
